Jason Kaare is a first-year Agriculture teacher at Marshall High School in Minnesota. He teaches grades nine through twelve in classes like Introduction to Agriculture, Animal Science, Landscaping, Basic Home and Agriculture Maintenance, Agriscience and Emerging Energies. Because people are becoming further and further removed from the farm in today's society, he has his students learn about the production of food by raising market chickens. Kaare's students also get involved in their community by fundraising for underprivileged families through Heart to Heart, and landscaping for local county fairgrounds.
